The ASTM A182 Duplex Steel 2205 Elbow is used in high temperature applications where the fluid direction has to be changed smoothly without excerpting too much pressure on the turn. There are different types of elbows; short radius, long radius, 90 degrees and 45 degrees. There are Duplex Steel Astm A815 Fittings which are wrought stainless steel and can withstand high impact tensions. The pipe lines with high tension and strength can use the fittings of this type. There are different methods and types of fittings such as forged, cold drawn, buttwelded and socket fittings. The Duplex UNS S32205 Buttweld Fitting has a buttweld which allows for maximum grip during welding and it provides much strength to the connection. The ASME SA182M Duplex Steel S32205 Butt Weld Pipe Fittings can therefore be used in high pressure and high temperature applications. The power generations plants, sea water desalination plants, chemical plants, food processing plants and the aerospace industry all use the duplex material because of the high yield strength and the good corrosion resistance properties.
